System Engineer VI

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Sr. System Engineer to join our team!
Specifically, we're looking for someone who will be part of a talented team focused on developing solutions to innovate mission-critical systems and applications. Those interested in this position should be comfortable with change and learning new technologies, as this opportunity is focused on finding innovative solutions to our customer's toughest challenges. This is a hands-on, systems engineering position requiring experience in the following: Cloud Engineering, VMware, Linux & Windows, DevOps, Containerization & Orchestration, Systems Integration, NiFi, Splunk, Elasticsearch, Kibana and Cyber Threat Intelligence. Experience supporting efforts involving Artificial Intelligence and/or Machine Learning is a definite plus.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing technical oversight
• Overall design and integration
• Working with the program team to build business processes
• Assessing hardware/software selections
• Validating compliance and cross-organization integration
• Evaluating technical feasibility of solutions derived from customer requirements
• Identifying environmental, technical, and policy constraints
• Validating adherence in product deliverables

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience OR
• A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience (any Process Area). OR
• A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience OR
• A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience supporting cloud-native systems
• Desired Skills:
  • Experience managing or working as part of Agile development teams
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts
  • Familiarity supporting large-scale distributed systems
