Role: Slalom Flex (Project Based) Project Manager - SAP

What You'll Do
• Coordinate and facilitate technical discussions to plan and execute project work.
• Work closely with the test coordinator to ensure adequate testing, both technical and functional, are planned and executed during the project.
• Organize, document and oversee project cutover plans to minimize disruption and avoid defects.
• Facilitate project planning sessions with key SMEs and leads to draft the project plan and schedule.
• Gain alignment from project team members and project leadership on activities, deliverables, time frames, due dates and resources.
• Monitor project progress and update project plan and schedule accordingly.
• Ensure that team members know their assigned activities and deliverables and remove any roadblocks to the team members completing those activities.
• Ensure weekly team meetings are held and that the team knows what is due for the next 2 weeks, what is being completed and what is behind.
• Publish weekly "to-do lists" (for upcoming two weeks) to each team member to help ensure everyone understands their assigned tasks and timelines within which execution is expected.
• Gather updated task status information each week and update the plan.
• Work with team members that are behind on tasks to remove road blocks and keep project on track.
• Escalate issues as necessary for resolution in order to keep project on track.
• Develop a milestone plan and publish progress against the milestone plan on a monthly basis.
• Develop a weekly project status report to be provided to the project team and stakeholders.
• Provide monthly reporting to leadership and other stakeholders as needed.
• Maintain and administer the Project SharePoint site.
• Facilitate any organizational change management related to the project.
What You'll Bring
• Proven experience managing SAP projects in the domains of HR, Payroll, Finance, Supply Chain.
• Familiarity with SAP technical components such as ABAP programs, Integration patterns using PO, transports and transport paths, basic network fundamentals, Basis work, and other components of an SAP landscape.
• SAP DMLT, Data Management and Landscape Transformation experience
• Proven ability to align, manage and direct multiple third-party vendors on a single project to meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to align and work closely with other project managers to deliver a large SAP project/program.
• Proven techniques and approaches for managing multiple third-party vendors including an offshore outsourcing partner to milestones with quality standards.
• Virtual project team management.
• Stakeholder management.
• Principles of Agile such as breaking work down into components and iteration planning.
• Meticulous attention to detail with respect to documentation for meeting agendas, meeting minutes, action, decisions, issue management, risk management, schedule management, scope management.
• Ability to hold team members accountable to commitments.
• Ability to communicate project management and technical issues, risks and project health into presentations that are simple and easy to understand at the executive level.
• 15+ years of SAP experience.
• Has held project manager role for an end-to-end global project implementation.
• Broad understanding of SAP technologies.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
• Outstanding written presentation skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills including technical and business focused communications.
• Must be fluent in the English language.
• US passport or US Permanent Resident Card (USCIS Form I-551) holder.
• PMI-PMP certification preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the hourly pay range is $65 to $85/HR depending on experience. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
