Join our global E-Commerce Governance Platform team, dedicated to creating a safe and trustworthy marketplace for buyers, sellers, and creators. We focus on enhancing risk detection, ensuring fairness and sustainability in the E-Commerce ecosystem, and improving content and commodity quality.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead data analysis initiatives to generate actionable insights in the global e-commerce governance domain
- Analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful patterns and trends
- Develop and implement advanced analytics models to support decision-making and strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Operations) to deliver data-driven solutions
- Create intuitive visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one statistical programming language (R or Python)
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and applying statistical/machine-learning techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Demonstrated passion for leveraging data to solve challenging problems in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in the quantitative field
- Experience in building interactive dashboards and data visualization tools
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Knowledge of e-commerce or online marketplace dynamics
- Strong communication skills and ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive work ethic and a strong sense of ownership
