We are currently searching for an experienced CEI Senior Project Engineer to support our Southeast Region located in Pensacola, FL.

What you'll be doing:
  • Direct construction engineering administration and inspection project/program
  • Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members; develop and/or review project specific policies, methods, practices, and procedures
  • Review programs for conformance with Client standards
  • Identify and pursue future opportunities
  • The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining an excellent professional relationship with those organizations to facilitate both the successful completion of current ongoing projects and the successful pursuit of follow-on assignments
  • Preparing proposals and estimates for new projects
  • Reviewing technical work and reports prepared by others
  • Managing projects so that schedules and budget are met

  • Periodic visits to construction or work sites to perform inspections


What you need to have:
  • Civil Engineering degree
  • Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida
  • 6 years of progressive experience in Major Road and Bridge Construction
  • Familiarity with FDOT Policies and Procedures, (District 3 is a plus)
  • FDOT Advanced MOT Certification
  • Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the examination
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Volkert's driving policy
