THE ROLE

We are looking for ambitious Bid & Offer Manager with an entrepreneurial mind-set to join our team during this exciting period of growth to further assist in the development of the business out of our DENVER Delivery Center.

The BOM will work hand by hand with the Business Manager, Technical Direction & GAM and therefore be a key player in the end-to-end bid process. From qualification to contract award, including value proposition/strategy development, solution development, commercial considerations, partner identification, competitive landscape and risk management.

The position is based in the city of Boulogne-Billancourt.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In cooperation with Technical Direction and Business Organizations:
  • Pre-sales
    • Ensure offers and project references readiness
    • Anticipate next major RFI/RFP and associated risks
    • For major RFI/RFP, support coordination (BU, TD and DDCC), define and follow action plans
    • Support new business strategy and development
    • Support preparation of the documents required for the bids
  • Bid Management
    • Support BM and TD in the use of the CRM tool during the bid process
    • Support qualification of the business and strategy to answer
    • Support the preparation & organize / attend Go/NoGo - Bid/NoBid
    • Ensure that group offers are best used and maximize the value of the ALTEN offer
    • Support the business manager in the coordination of the bid team (technical, business, legal, quality, center of expertise, partners)
    • Check quality of the offer and financial form prior to the offer review.
    • Store information on the CRM tool (except documents stored by BMs during the offer review)
    • Organize / Attend Offer review
    • Perform Lessons learnt of each CFT
    • Analyze risk for each bid and alert DD/MD/TD as required
  • Transversal activities / Capitalization
    • Issue KPIs from the CRM tool and check accuracy of data
    • Issue reporting to Managing Director, DDs, TD and BOM transnational organization (DDCC) with adapted frequency and format
    • Monitor adherence to the bid process and alert if not respected
    • Analyze the maturity of the bid process by Business Unit and define and roll out the associated action plans
    • Perform analysis for each semester for main reason for win/lose
    • Capitalize best practices, offers and templates in KX database to maximize win rate & reuse
    • Explain and enforce the BID process, method, and tools
    • Develop offers to support key prospection

Note: Other duties may be assigned from time to time.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management and commercial skills.

Being result oriented and having an entrepreneurial mind-set is crucial. Also, attention to detail, ability to multitask with good level of organization are highly advantageous.

You will have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Management or Business Administration. You will be a master in Microsoft Office Suite..

Salary Range: 125,000-150,000 + Annual Bonus Plan

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
