Job Description:
OmniOn Power is seeking a senior engineer to perform product testing of electronic power supplies and dc/dc power modules. The engineer will support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change (EC) processes. This role consists of developing detailed test plans, test fixtures, and automating test systems.

Job Description:
OmniOn Power is seeking a senior engineer to perform product testing of electronic power supplies and dc/dc power modules. The engineer will support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change (EC) processes. This role consists of developing detailed test plans, test fixtures, and automating test systems.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing test strategies for electronic power supplies and support manufacturing locations.
- Create detailed test plans for various power supply products by collaborating with Designers, Component Engineers, Project Managers, etc.
- Coordinate unit under test (UUT) samples with internal project tracking systems.
- Identify test equipment and fixtures used to perform testing of electronic power supplies.
- Design automated test systems (ATE) to perform electrical tests.
- Program ATE systems to automate test routines.
- Provide technicians with detailed instructions on test plans and execution.
- Create MS Excel macros to automate data analysis.
- Review test data and determine product conformance with respect to the Technical Requirements.
- Assist engineering teams to interpret, duplicate, and resolve non-conformances.
- Research new technologies and equipment to facilitate the testing of power supplies.
- Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- 10+ years of work experience in electronic test engineering
- Experience with ATE test equipment and programming power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital volt meters, power analyzers, and data logging instruments.
- Proficient in Microsoft EXCEL and WORD.
- Experience with power supply testing.

Desired Characteristics
- Ability to interpret technical requirements as they apply to power conversion devices to determine whether documented requirements and standards are met.
- Working knowledge of AC and DC sources, electronics loads, data acquisition and switching, oscilloscopes, power meters, and thermal chambers.
- Experience with Microsoft MACROs, MS Visual Studio, NI LabWindows/CVI, NI TestStand, and other lab automation software.
- Ability to efficiently manage time and coordinate priorities with multiple project teams.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
