Key responsibilities
- Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures
- Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
- Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
- Play a key role in system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration of NetSuite Financials
- Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
- Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
- CPA or MBA preferred
- Strong familiarity with ASC 606
- CPA experience preferred
- Solid understanding of US GAAP
- Prepared By Client (PBC) experience preferred
- Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities
- Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
- Recent relevant financial experience
- Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
