Siemens
LTP Project Manager
Siemens, Orlando, FL
A Snap Shot of your Day:
As the single point contact for Siemens Energy's critical Service Program customers, this position would require a motivated individual to manage and implement Service Program Contracts in the Central USA along with advising the customer on technical solutions affecting operation and maintenance of their units.
A typical day would require a dedicated, self-starting, creative individual with a working knowledge of power plants to collaborate internally with Siemens Energy partners in the field and the home office of Orlando, Florida and other internal organizations along with the customer to plan, schedule, and implement outages. This person would utilize engineering skills and good commercial sense to solve customer and plant issues along with being a Safety Champion driving zero harm culture.
As the LTP Project Manager, this individual would collaborate with internal partners and the customer to plan, prioritize and sell upgrades including extra work, along with pulling in scope outside of the Contract (i.e. Steam Turbine, Generator and Digital scopes as applicable). This daily activity would also require this individual to manage Service Program Contract financials and present financial status to management on a quarterly basis.
As the USA energy market transitions, Siemens Energy gas turbines and associated plants offer high thermal efficiencies leading to low specific CO2 emissions. The replacement of old equipment with highly efficient components contributes to decarbonization. As an LTP Project Manager, you are integral to this change.
