Amentum is now hiring for several Electronics Engineer (All Levels) positions in support of the Field, Lab and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction (FLAIR) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment FLAIR core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of FLAIR and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within FLAIR.

The candidate will perform the following duties:
- Researches, develops, designs, tests, and analyzes electronic components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, medical, military, and scientific applications, applying principles and techniques of electronic engineering.
- Designs electronic circuits, components and integrated systems, utilizing ferroelectric, nonlinear, dielectric, phosphorescent, photo-conductive, and thermoelectric properties of materials.
- Designs test control apparatus and equipment, determines procedures for testing products, and oversees engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment. Excludes paraprofessional positions.
- Develops new applications of conductive properties of metallic and nonmetallic materials used in components and in application of components to products or systems.
- May direct field operations and maintenance of electronic installations.
- May evaluate operational systems and recommend design modifications to eliminate causes of malfunctions or changes in system requirements.
- May specialize in development of electronic principles and technology in fields, such as telecommunications, telemetry, aerospace guidance, missile propulsion control, counter-measures, acoustics, nucleonic instrumentation, industrial controls and measurements, high-frequency heating, computers, radiation detection, encephalographic, electron optics, and biomedical research.
- May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Provides professional engineering that requires primarily application of knowledge to: (1) the physical and engineering sciences and mathematics; (2) electronic phenomena; and (3) the principles, techniques, and practices of electronics engineering. This pertains primarily to electronic circuits, circuit elements, equipment, systems, and associated phenomena concerned with electromagnetic or acoustical wave energy or electrical information for purposes such as communication, computation, sensing, control, measurement, and navigation.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required.
- 1-10+ years of experience.
- 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.
