About The Role:

As a Construction Materials Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing materials testing projects, ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with clients, project teams, and laboratory staff to deliver successful projects while upholding our commitment to excellence.

In your day-to-day role, you will lead and manage dynamic Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspections projects of varying scales, overseeing every phase, including budget allocations, scheduling, and resource allocation. You will collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will supervise and mentor a team of professionals and field-based staff, providing guidance and training as needed. Developing and maintaining a local client base and professional network will be essential to generate sufficient revenue to meet financial objectives. You will also coordinate local and regional business development and marketing efforts to expand our market presence and opportunities. Lastly, you will generate and review field and laboratory cost estimates and proposals, ensuring alignment with project plans, International Building Code (IBC) requirements, and client requests for proposals.

About You:
  • You are looking for a challenge and enjoy working on high-profile and exciting projects
  • 4+ years' experience with Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection projects with at least 1 year of project management experience
  • A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Excellent leadership experience
  • A strong working knowledge of applicable ACI, ASTM, AASHTO, and DOT standards and procedures, and IBC Special Inspections
  • The willingness to work outside in various weather conditions, maneuver equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
