Fox Agency is a B2B marketing agency with offices in the UK, Germany, and the US. We opened our first US office in New York City in November 2023, and we are building and scaling our US team.
With a growing portfolio of clients, we are looking for a VP of Media, to help shape and own Fox's integrated media approach, from the development of media strategies, creative executions, and budgets across various media channels and multiple geographies, to managing performance, and reporting accurately on results and insights to all levels of the business. This leadership role requires deep linear and digital media subject matter expertise, team leadership experience and strong marketing skills.

- At least 10+ years of experience in media planning and buying, preferably within a B2B marketing agency and globally
- Extensive experience within the programmatic space with a strong background in B2B performance marketing, particularly within Paid Display, Programmatic Buying, and Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
- Strong working knowledge of paid channels including but not limited to Paid Search (Google and Bing), Paid Social (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik-Tok), Paid Display (including programmatic, geo-targeting, DooH, YouTube and a variety of Ads), with the ability to manage these directly when necessary
- Experience with 6Sense/DemandBase, DV360, The Trade Desk, and ad measurement platforms such as CM360, with a focus on ABM
- Good experience using Data Reporting and Analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics (GA4) at an expert level, and an ability to spot anomalies and trends for optimization
- A proven track record of driving "always-on" A/B testing activities to optimise messaging and creative. You are constantly improving the performance and effectiveness of marketing spend
- Experience working with and managing global B2B clients
- Experience in managing media budgets, analyzing performance metrics, and providing actionable insights for optimization
- Strategic thinker and visionary leader with the ability to lead and motivate a team while also building relationships with clients and across agency disciplines
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to build relationships with media vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Natural understanding of current global marketing and the ability to integrate diverse, inclusive multicultural thinking into all media strategy and planning
The Role:
- Develop and execute integrated media strategies across Paid Display, Programmatic channels, and some Paid Social for B2B clients, with a focus on achieving marketing objectives and showcasing incremental value within integrated campaigns
- Lead media planning, buying, and optimization efforts to ensure maximum ROI for client campaigns
- Ensure financial responsibility with scoping, budgeting, and alignment with internal budgets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, account management, and digital, to align media strategies with overall campaign goals
- Manage relationships with media vendors and negotiate favourable terms and rates
- Oversee PPC programs including the execution, optimization, and budgets, while strengthening platform accounts and key client relationships
- Overseeing campaigns across several search platforms
- Experience with direct publishers including knowledge of key contacts / relationships
- Participate in RFP and pitch processes for all media-related new business opportunities
- Demonstrate an intimate and strategic understanding of how customers interact with media channels and technologies
- Drive operational excellence within the media team by overseeing the media buying process, including the selection and negotiation of media channels and strategies to drive client goals
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging media platforms, and innovative media strategies and AI to recommend and implement new opportunities for reaching target audiences
- Strong managerial experience and a deep understanding of digital structure in a media agency. This role will be responsible for developing and running platform specialists, planners, strategists, and media ops
- To work pro-actively with other members of the team and wider agency to drive improvements to current workflow, processes and team efficiency
- Managing workload between team members to ensure clear roles and responsibilities, based on skillsets
- To review staff performance regularly and be responsible for their development
