JOB QUALIFICATIONS
JOB DUTIES
1. **Creative Leadership & Execution**
- Shape and execute high-level, narrative-driven edits for broadcast commercials, from concept through final delivery.
- Collaborate with our creative team to refine and elevate storyboards, scripts, and shot selections.
- Bring a cohesive, brand-aligned approach to all edits, ensuring they are both memorable and aligned with the client's vision.
- Lead the creative direction within post-production, setting a high bar for quality and consistency across all deliverables.
2. **Technical Mastery & Quality Control**
- Expertly utilize industry-standard editing software (Avid, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve) to create polished, broadcast-ready edits.
- Implement precise audio mixing, color correction, and visual enhancements to deliver a flawless end product.
- Oversee motion graphics, VFX, and any digital effects to maintain a high-quality production standard.
- Ensure that all content adheres to broadcast specifications and meets multi-platform distribution standards.
3. **Collaborative Communication**
- Work closely with directors, producers, creative executives and other team members to bring creative visions to life.
- Clearly communicate complex edits to clients and stakeholders, bridging creative direction with technical execution.
- Lead client or agency presentations as needed to discuss creative direction, editing choices, and final approvals.
- Mentor junior editors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance post-production environment.
4. **Project Management & Delivery**
- Manage multiple projects efficiently, adhering to timelines and ensuring all edits meet or exceed client expectations.
- Anticipate and proactively address any production or post-production challenges.
- Maintain organized files, assets, and deliverables, ensuring easy reference and archival quality.
5. **Industry Insight & Innovation**
- Stay at the forefront of editing trends, software, and best practices to maintain our agency's industry leadership.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)..
- 8+ years of experience as a video editor, specializing in broadcast commercials, with an award-winning portfolio and verified billing history.
- Mastery of video editing software (Avid, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in motion graphics, VFX, sound design, and color grading.
- Proven ability to create compelling visual narratives that strengthen brand identity.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience working alongside high-profile clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to excel under pressure and manage multiple projects seamlessly.
