Shift Details: Rotation of 1st and 2nd shift responsibilities with shifts varying between 8 to 12 hours

Join our talented orthopaedic surgery team at Midstate Medical Center, part of the Connecticut Orthopaedic Institute! As part of a dedicated Physician Assistant-led team, you'll provide top-notch orthopedic care, including first assisting in the OR, floor work, and consultations. The team covers in-patient joint reconstruction, spine, and acute fracture care. Role: Physician Assistant

Location: 435 Lewis Avenue, Meriden, CT

Setting: Inpatient, orthopaedic surgery

Schedule:  Full-time, primarily weekdays.

Call schedule: Approximately every third week, weekdays only, from home.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
  • Training: Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP certified)
    • RNFA certification is required for Nurse Practitioners
  • Experience: New graduates welcome to apply!

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience:  2+ years in an orthopaedic and/or surgery setting
