YOUR ROLE
You'll be part of driving road logistics business development within North America with a strong focus on the sales channel for key account management (KAM). Your target is to achieve the set net growth targets for KAM and increase return on invest (ROI).
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess the KAM performance in previous years and identify improvement areas.
- Analyze KAM portfolios and identify focus accounts (industries) based on Road Logistics capabilities and ambitions.
- Develop compelling value proposition with global technology and local operation teams.
- Support KAM-teams in customer approach, identification of road potential and initial approach (pitch) - support KAM in the customer engagement until tender is lounged and collaborate with tender management team to increase hit-rate.
- Minimum of 5 years B2B business development experience.
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience within freight forwarding and transportation and logistics.
- Open to travel up to 50% where required for customer engagements.
- Bachelor's Degree.
