Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecologist Career Opportunity Louisville, KY
Norton Childrens Gynecology, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, is seeking a fellowship-trained pediatric and adolescent gynecologist to join an established team of three pediatric and adolescent gynecologists and two advanced practice providers. The practice provides gynecologic care to patients from across the region and is part of Norton Childrens Medical Group, which employs more than 600 pediatric specialty and primary care providers.
About the Position
Join one of the oldest pediatric and adolescent gynecology training programs in North America, and benefit from collaboration with other pediatric subspecialists
Provide ambulatory care in an outpatient setting, as well as consultative and surgical care for inpatient and outpatient pediatric and adolescent gynecology patients
Hold a clinical faculty position through the University of Louisville School of Medicine to provide training for medical students, pediatric residents, and obstetrics and gynecology residents on a rotating basis
Collaborate with general pediatric and pediatric subspecialty providers at Norton Childrens Hospital and the University of Louisville School of Medicine
Access operating rooms at Norton Childrens Hospital, Norton Womens & Childrens Hospital and Norton Childrens Medical Center
Conduct clinical research with support through Norton Research Institute and the University of Louisville
Participate in multidisciplinary clinics or build new programs based on interest
Ideal candidate will have completed a pediatric and adolescent gynecology fellowship
Requirements for the Position
Medical degree/diploma
Board certified/board eligible
Kentucky medical license or license eligible
