Opportunity for a Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Shoulder and Elbow Surgeon
We are seeking a fellowship-trained orthopedic shoulder/elbow surgeon to join our collegial, well-established team. Our group includes 3 total joint surgeons, 2 sports surgeons, and 1 hand surgeon.

 Role Highlights:

  • Surgical Practice Scope: Focus on shoulder/elbow arthroscopy, shoulder arthroplasty (primary and revision), and upper extremity trauma.
  • Schedule: Operating room time is 1-2 days per week, with a light call rotation (~1:7) for community-level trauma. After-hours cases and call-ins are rare, thanks to dedicated trauma room time (during regular hours on most days).
  • Surgical Infrastructure: We have a well-established outpatient shoulder arthroplasty program with infrastructure (patient care coordinators, home health, etc.) already in place.

Redwood City is located in the middle of the San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula, half-way between San Francisco and San Jose, 30 minutes from the beach and 3 hours from the snow.

Requirements:

  • Board Certification or Eligibility
  • Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA

Full-time annual salary range is $554,040 to $575,040 plus additional potential incentives up to $70,830*. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available.  *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
