We are looking for a Technical Commodity Manager to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Director, Commodity Management and will be based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support product development roadmap incorporating design change and implementation to current and future product lines
  • Identify and support implementation of cost reduction, material optimization, design for manufacture, and material standardization opportunities.
  • Support Commodity Leaders, Program Managers, Buyers, Planners, Production Control, and cross-functional teams with special projects as required.
  • Ensure cross-functional project teams are staying on track to meet deadlines.


Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Technical background with knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Ability to read and understand production drawings.
  • Knowledge of machining processes including welding, brazing, punching, bending, CNC, coating.
  • Experience in sheet metal, cable harness desirable.
  • A quick learner and team player, exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills, ability to negotiate cost reductions with suppliers and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 7+ Years relevant work experience

Salary Ranges:
$146,800.00 - $211,200.00
