About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration to lead our organization's financial and administrative management efforts. In this critical role, you will have the opportunity to define and implement strategic financial and operational systems aligned with our mission to support Black-led organizations. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring compliance with grantmaking processes, government grants, and philanthropic partnerships.

You will provide expert advice on financial planning, budgeting, and policy matters while skillfully navigating the intricacies of nonprofit financial management. The SVP will oversee external financial consultants, prepare comprehensive financial statements, and lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

The ideal candidate will hold a business or accounting degree, with a preference for an MBA and/or CPA, and possess at least 10 years of experience in a senior financial or operations management role, especially within a high-growth environment. Experience in grantmaking organizations and a proven track record of nonprofit compliance are crucial.
