Job Summary:

Mercury Systems specializes in secure mission-critical technology for the military and defense. We are seeking a Micro-Electronics Assemblerfor our Operations group. This is a great opportunity for a "hands-on get-it-done" individual to contribute to the future growth of the corporation. This position is in Torrance, CA.

In this role of Micro Electronic Assembler, you have the opportunity to:
Learn and understand Mercury's product lines as it pertains to operations. Become a member of a growing manufacturing group that specializes in electro-mechanical assemblies. Build upon basic understandings of the assembly of electro-mechanical hardware. Participate in the manufacturing repair and overhaul of returning units (RMAs). Maintain company policies and adhere to ISO9001/AS9100 quality requirements in production coordination efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs a wide variety of electrical/mechanical product assembly operations on components, assemblies or sub-assemblies.
  • Disassembling, modifying, reworking, re-assembling assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
  • Assist/ perform prototype assembly.
  • Prepares assembly work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications and routers.
  • Must continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards.
  • Maintain logs, paperwork, and forms accurately consistent with company policy and practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Certified solder to J-STD-001
  • Eagar and motivated to learn, work and grow with Mercury.
  • Performs a wide variety of electrical/mechanical product assembly operations on components, assemblies or sub-assemblies.

  • Assist/ perform prototype assembly.

Full-time Equivalent Salary Range: $41,000 - $83,600 for a Level II at Torrance CA, USA. The disclosed salary range is a general guideline for Mercury team members employed at the job level at the location listed above and does not include overtime for eligible hourly employees.

This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations. You may only access such information if you are a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. government.
