Machine Builder-Days

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Machine Builder who is willing to travel to perform Field Service and Install work for an automation company. Day Shift - Long term contract position. Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 10 years experience working as a Machine Buildeer. Must own tools and rolling box Drilling and tapping, reaming Read and interpret blueprints Sub assembly and integration Experienced building conveyor systems, small cells, robotic weld lines, gantry sytems and test systems Fabrication and welding -- light Integration and assembly work Daily use of hand tools and power tools Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments Modify parts and materials to improve overall production Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects Perform routine maintenance on machinery Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments Must understand automated machines and associated tooling Knowledge of mechanical standards, tooling assembly, and setup Familiar with tool room equipment such as lathe, mill, and bridgeports etc. -- sub assembly Proficient in build practices for Chrysler, Ford, and GM Follow installation of equipment from build to plant Maintenance and troubleshooting of build Installs and teardowns Install cable tray, tooling, and framing systems
