Production Assembler I

Overview

Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to makesubassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, f ixtures and miscellaneousequipment | Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and productoperating requirements; repairs units or products that have failed to meet requirements

Major Position Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts,components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturingprocedures.• Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment toassemble units.• Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances,product specifications, and quality standards.• May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.• Keeps daily assembly production records.• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.

Basic Qualifications

• Performs manual tasks according to established procedures• Works with clearly defined methods and tasks that are described in detail• Works under close supervision with little autonomy• Requires little or no prior relevant training or work experience
• High School Diploma/GED• 0-3 years of experience

Pay Range (USD)

Min $30,450.00/Annu. - Max $56,650.00/Annu.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training. Additional Compensation

Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company’s Gain Sharing Program.
