Job Title: Electrical Assembler Job Description The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling electrical systems and components in accordance with engineering schematics and specifications. You will be required to assemble the electrical components and control devices to heavy subassembly units based on the electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams. Wiring of circuits, outlets, and switches, as well as calibrating parts and mechanisms to meet the tolerance of the product, are key tasks. Basic tools (drills, impacts, and grinders) will be provided, but you must know how to operate those tools from day one. You may work alone or with a group of other assemblers. Additionally, you will operate material handling devices and lifts including pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and mobile floor cranes. Responsibilities Assemble electrical components and control devices based on engineering schematics and specifications. Wire circuits, outlets, and switches. Calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet product tolerances. Operate basic tools such as drills, impacts, and grinders. Work independently or with a team of assemblers. Operate material handling devices including pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and mobile floor cranes. Fit, test, and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Essential Skills 3-5 years of control panel troubleshooting and repair experience. 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints or schematics. Proficient in operating measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools. 3-5 years of experience working with conduit and up to 480V. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in assembly, hand tools, production, power tools, electrical assembly, bending conduit, cable trays, troubleshooting electrical issues, and repair. Work Environment This is a production environment with exposure to loud noise, moving machinery, and other hazards. You will frequently lift and move objects weighing between 10-50 pounds. Safety protocols must be followed at all times. The position operates on a first shift schedule from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Houston, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
