Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking a surgeon to join our growing Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Program. As a NH Level Ill trauma center with a robust Robotic Surgery program as well as a Cancer Center of Excellence we provide comprehensive surgical care to the community. WDH invites you to become part of the team of passionate surgeons and providers focused on delivering excellent patient care. Our team strives to be the premiere leader in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery delivering the most innovative and compassionate surgical care.

The surgeon will join a team of four experienced fellowship trained surgeons responsible for providing trauma and acute care surgery that is delivered in a systematic and holistic way.

The surgeon will be paired with an Advance Practitioner who will follow along with the surgeon's schedule as well as provide additional peri-operative and follow up assistance. The goal of the Trauma and Acute Care Surgery program is to provide 24/7 coverage. This approach to care, will provide improved access to care, continuity of care as well as follow up care for patient. This role will report to the Trauma Medical Director.

Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery
  • NH license
  • Added qualification in Surgical Critical Care and Fellowship training in Acute Care Surgery is preferred.
