We are looking for talented, motivated and ambitious team members to revolutionize robotic surgery.About The Team:Noah’s Instruments and Accessories (I&A) Team is responsible for the development of endoluminal instruments and accessories that are safe, effective and on-time. We are a dynamic, data-driven team and pride ourselves on our creative and collaborative approach to problem solving.  We continuously strive for win-win solutions that our customers love. Noah Medical I&A team members have the traditional role of design and prototyping but also take the lead on design requirements, specifications, design risk assessment, test methods, verification testing and more. I&A also plays a critical cross functional role in support through production and even post-market performance assessments. We are looking for curious, collaborative, energetic problem solvers who enjoy a challenge. We welcome diverse thinkers and value both experience and fresh ideas.A Day In The Life Of Our Staff Mechanical Engineer, I&A:Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of endoluminal robotic endoscopes and instruments, including the preparation of technical, concept and drawing reviews for components and assembliesCreate and maintain design documentation including CAD models, detailed drawings, manufacturing instructions and other engineering models such as mathematical models or simulationsQuickly iterate and test product designs, factoring in testing requirements, potential rapid prototyping techniques and future at-scale manufacturing implicationsCollaborate with product, marketing and clinical teams to explore and refine requirements and establish clinically relevant test methodsWork closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams in order to proactively identify and mitigate integration challengesApply DFM/DFA principles to transition prototypes into production, resolving manufacturing and supply chain issues in collaboration with manufacturing engineers and techniciansChampion the Noah Medical culture, foster collaboration and support team developmentAbout You:B.S. or M.S. preferred in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields with required years of directly related experience (B.S.+8yrs; M.S.+6yrs, etc)  A problem-solver with a first principles approach, eager to learn and mentor others Expertise in machining, injection molding, extrusion, 3D printing , laser cutting and other manufacturing techniques for surgical instruments and catheter-like devices Versatile engineering background, comfortable at the intersection of hardware and electronicsSkilled at generating multiple solutions and converging on the best option, with clear rationaleExperienced in medical device development, or similarly regulated industry Committed and driven to create products that deliver value to patients, physicians, institutions, and payersAdvanced Solidworks or OnShape user (5+years), or similar CAD toolsStrong written and verbal communicationWorkplace Type: Onsite Benefits & Perks (For Full Time Employees):Competitive SalaryComprehensive health insurance including Medical, Dental and Vision + HSA and FSA optionsEquity & Bonus ProgramLife Insurance (company paid & supplemental) and Disability insuranceMental health support through medical insurance programsLegal and Pet Insurance12+ paid holidays, 15-20 days of PTO + use-what-you-need sick daysPaid parental leaveIn-office snacks and beverages In-office lunch stipendLearning & Development Opportunities: On-demand online training and book reimbursementTeam building and company organized social and celebration events#LI-OnsitePay TransparencyThe Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role.
