We are a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of computer vision, image processing, machine learning and software engineers dedicated to pushing the boundaries of medical imaging with the state-of-the-art technologies, and creating high performance, low latency innovative software products. We are a team that embraces transparent communication, first principle thinking, and data-driven decision making.  We welcome candidates who are passionate about new technologies for medical imaging applications, possess technical excellence in their respectives fields, are energic in learning new skills, embrace collaboration and are ready to turn ideas into working software products and make an impact in healthcare. A Day In The Life Of Our Senior Algorithm Engineer (Medical Imaging and Machine Learning):Understand clinical applications and customer needs, gather feedback on software performance, user experience, and feature requests to drive product improvementsBe the owner of the treatment planning algorithmsResearch, develop, evaluate and iterate advanced image segmentation, image processing and machine learning algorithms for medical imagingDevelop, test and maintain high quality software applications using C++Evaluate and validate algorithms, implement robust performance measures, and conduct thorough testing and analysis to ensure accuracy and reliabilityDevelop automated tests to streamline the software development processes, perform software release tasksIdentify, diagnose and resolve software issues reported by both internal and external users, work with field service engineers to provide support for customer issuesDevelop 2D/3D image visualization and analysis toolsCreate and maintain accurate documentation of technical design, evaluation, issue resolutions and customer interactionsSupport building ML data pipeline to power the algorithm development, support data curation and annotation, support improving machine learning HW/SW infrastructure Be flexible and carry out other R&D and support tasks as assignedAbout You:BS, MS or PhD in CS, EE, Biomedical Engineering, radiology or a related fieldA passion in translating knowledge and ideas into real-life medical imaging products A strong sense of ownership to build high quality software productsProficiency in object oriented software development in C++5+ years of experience in commercial software developmentProficiency in Python programming, as well as PyTorch/TensorFlow for machine learning algorithm developmentExperience in image segmentation, including experience with medical image segmentation will be highly desiredExperience in 2D/3D image processing and computer vision is beneficialExperience with C#/GUI-development is very beneficialExperience with version control tools like Git is beneficialStrong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to quickly turn abstract ideas into working algorithm prototypesExcellent communication and documentation skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersWorkplace Type: HybridBenefits & Perks (For Full Time Employees):Competitive SalaryComprehensive health insurance including Medical, Dental and Vision + HSA and FSA optionsEquity & Bonus ProgramLife Insurance (company paid & supplemental) and Disability insuranceMental health support through medical insurance programsLegal and Pet Insurance12+ paid holidays, 15-20 days of PTO + use-what-you-need sick daysPaid parental leaveIn-office snacks and beverages In-office lunch stipendLearning & Development Opportunities: On-demand online training and book reimbursementTeam building and company organized social and celebration events#LI-HybridPay TransparencyThe Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role.
