About this roleThe Controller is a key full-time position within the Finance department, responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the company. This role involves managing the global accounting team, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and preparing monthly financial statements. The Controller will work closely with FP&A, GTM Strategy & Operations, and various other parties.️ Your responsibilitiesManage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including AP, AR, Revenue, and GL AccountingCreate processes and procedures (including internal controls) to help maintain accurate and complete accounting recordsEnsure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reportingManage outside consultants and use their expertise where neededPrepare and publish timely monthly financial statementsPartner with the external auditors to ensure a timely audit of our financial statementsManage ERP cleanliness, working closely with IT as necessaryCoach and mentor key leaders in the accounting organization️ Is this you?10+ years of experience in accounting, with expert-level knowledge of US GAAPCPA requiredRelevant experience in the technology industry, preferably with exposure to technical accounting and operational accountingStrong understanding of accounting software and ERP systemsExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with senior leadership and external partiesCurious to learn more about who we are and how we operate?
