They coordinate with other departments, analyze market trends and consumer behavior, and align marketing efforts with the overall company goals.Responsibilities:Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the disease state, competitive landscape, literature and therapeutic management of the Thyroid Eye Disease, in addition to understanding managed care and infusion center dynamicsManage and enhance external relationships with thought leaders, promotional speakers and strategic business partnersCreate educational and promotional peer-to-peer content for the endocrinology speaker bureauManage the endocrinology speaker bureau and drive speaker training annuallySupport implementation of marketing strategy via execution of congresses, symposia and peer-to-peer programs as well as be able to generate insights through advisory boards and meetings with external advisorsWork closely with marketing and sales leadership, sales training, and internal cross-functional groups to develop and execute brand campaign, messaging, marketing initiatives and marketing materials to educate and engage stakeholdersWork collaboratively with cross-functional partners to continue to grow product adoption as well as to support the strategy for expansion of opportunityImplementation of key promotional tactics within the professional marketing team to reach both prescribing target and referral physician audiencesManage external partners (ad agency, meeting planners, market research, consultants) to ensure integration and consistency of strategies, messages and tactics across several projects at once and within agreed upon timelines and budgetsGarner and leverage business insights and expert feedback to provide active input into the development and review of brand strategy and tactical planGain feedback on and track marketing program effectiveness and continuously strive to optimize marketing programsWork with promotional review committee (MAC) to ensure that marketing materials meet brand and regulatory guidelinesQualifications and Skills Required:Bachelor's degree required; Graduate business or healthcare related degree preferred5+ years of experience in marketing/sales preferably in the healthcare pharmaceutical industryEndocrinology and/or Biologic specialty product marketing or sales experience, preferredExperience working with multiple projects and managing multiple external vendorsMust have strong planning, project management, communication, and organization skillsAbility to seize feedback and provide clear direction is essentialFlexibility to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment with multiple demands with initiative and independence requiredAbility to develop and execute on the principles of brand management, including brand positioning, messaging & overall campaignWork well with othersRequires approximately 25% travel, including some overnight and weekend commitmentsProficient in Microsoft OfficeProfessional, proactive demeanorStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThriveWhat you can expect of usAs we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates’ professional and personal growth and well-being.In addition to the base salary, Amgen offers a Total Rewards Plan comprising health and welfare plans for staff and eligible dependents, financial plans with opportunities to save towards retirement or other goals, work/life balance, and career development opportunities including:Comprehensive employee benefits package, including a Retirement and Savings Plan with generous company contributions, group medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts.A discretionary annual bonus program, or for field sales representatives, a sales-based incentive planStock-based long-term incentivesAward-winning time-off plans and bi-annual company-wide shutdownsFlexible work models, including remote work arrangements, where possibleApply nowfor a career that defies imaginationObjects in your future are closer than they appear.
