Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is working with an industry leader to find a Production Manager
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring quality standards, maintaining compliance with ISO regulations, and optimizing processes for efficiency. This role involves hands-on management, team leadership, and collaboration across departments to meet production goals while upholding our commitment to quality and safety. #LI-JM1 Key Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight:
- Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Oversee low-volume manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to specifications.
- ISO Compliance:
- Maintain and ensure compliance with ISO standards and facilitate audits as required.
- Implement and improve quality management systems in line with ISO requirements.
- Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct training for team members on best practices and safety procedures.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with design, engineering, and quality teams to address production needs.
- Prepare and present production metrics, reports, and improvement plans to senior management.
- Inventory and Equipment Management:
- Ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment to avoid production delays.
- Oversee maintenance of machinery and recommend upgrades or repairs as necessary.
- Proven experience as a Production Manager, Supervisor, or similar role in a plastic injection molding environment.
- Knowledge of low-volume manufacturing processes and techniques preferred
- Strong understanding of ISO standards and experience managing compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in production scheduling tools and software is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
