This includes 24-hour on-call duties, with potential for both daytime and nighttime coverage. Patients Per Shift : Typically 6-8 patients Bed Capacity : 29 beds in the department Rounding : Assigned patients Schedule: Immediate Coverage Dates : November 22, 23, 24, and November 28, 29, 30 Coverage Type : Call only, with availability for rotating weekends as needed. Holidays Covered : Includes major holidays such as 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Day, and Labor Day. Requirements: Board Certification : Must be Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. Fellowship training is preferred. State License : An active North Carolina medical license is required. Certifications : BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. Background Check : A clean background is essential for quick credentialing, with no history of malpractice. Temporary Privileges : Available if needed. Hospital/Surgery Center Privileges : Not required for this role.
