HonorHealth is actively recruiting a board-certified, fellowship-trained Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiologist with at least three years of experience, proficient in managing temporary and durable mechanical support devices. A strong interest in pulmonary hypertension management is a plus. You will partner with the Advanced Heart Disease team and Cardiac Surgeons in creating a state-of-the-art Total Artificial Heart Program with a focus on durable ventricular assist devices on track to begin in early 2024. The HonorHealth Advanced Heart Disease Group is part of the HonorHealth Cardiovascular Center of Excellence, supported by a group of over 50 employed and aligned cardiologists. VAD implantation will be performed at the Scottsdale Shea Medical Center (SSMC) supported by two VAD clinics and shared inpatient responsibilities among the advanced heart failure cardiologists.
