ACADEMIC ENDOCRINOLOGIST – Tufts Medical Center – Boston, MA
Tufts Medical Center is accepting applications for a full-time Instructor or Assistant Professor position to join our expanding, forward-looking Endocrinology Team. We invite applications from highly qualified BC/BE physicians who are collaborative, have strong clinical and communication skills, and are committed to excellent patient care. The successful candidate will provide outstanding clinical care and engage in research and education. The opportunity includes clinical responsibilities at Tufts Medical Center’s Boston Campus with an option to practice at community-based sites. Preference will be given to applicants with a strong interest in thyroid health or diabetes, but those interested in other areas are encouraged to apply. The clinical and academic focus of the position is flexible, and the leadership is committed to supporting the successful candidate in developing and growing areas of influence and expertise.
The Endocrinology clinical team has 12 physicians, two nurse practitioners, one physician assistant, and three RNs and outstanding leadership that embraces the concept of a balanced life. The Division ranks highly in employee engagement surveys, consistently above national averages. We provide clinical care at the Boston campus and in three community-based practices (Quincy, Norfolk, and Framingham). The Division has an endocrine fellowship program with four fellows, and we actively participate in the education of internal medicine residents and students. The Division has research programs in neuroendocrinology, diabetes, bone disease, and nutrition.
