About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President Corporate Controller to lead all controllership functions, including accounting operations, shared services, and internal controls. The successful candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for driving change, capable of developing partnerships, building effective teams, and demonstrating strong communication and analytical skills. This role requires a player/coach who can engage in the details while employing strategic thinking to deliver tangible business results. Responsibilities for the Vice President Corporate Controller include fostering a culture of quality, leading a complex accounting organization, and having extensive experience in accounting functions, particularly in process improvement and collaboration with business partners. The ideal candidate will have a background in a publicly traded manufacturing company and experience with a Big 4 or global public accounting firm. The role demands a leader with a strong background in continuous improvement, leadership, and accounting expertise, particularly in the context of U.S. public companies. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline, and an active or inactive CPA license. A minimum of 15 years in accounting or financial management, with at least 7 years in a managerial role, is required. The Vice President Corporate Controller will be expected to have a proven track record in process improvement, and system implementation, and the ability to build relationships with key business leaders, external auditors, and the audit committee. Integrity, credibility, and a collaborative team player attitude are essential for this position.
