Laborist – Certified Nurse Midwife

St. Cloud Hospital’s Women’s & Newborn Health is expanding its team!  We are hiring a Certified Nurse Midwife to support our Laborist program within the Birth Center.

Primary Location:

St. Cloud Hospital, Family Birthing Center

• Birthing center with spacious suites, large private bathrooms, and air-jetted tubs
• Center contains a 6-bed private room OB triage unit, 12 labor/delivery/recovery (LDR) beds, 6 antepartum (high-risk) beds, 26 postpartum (mother/baby) beds, 2 operating rooms and 1 procedure room
• Provides care for low- and high-risk births
• 24/7 in-house obstetrician and perinatal support
• Care coordination for complex cases

Schedule:

• Full-time
• 45 FTE and 0.75 FTE available
• 12-hour shifts (call room available)
• Every 3^rd weekend/holiday or every weekend (Baylor) position.

Responsibilities:

• Complete Deliveries
• Offer high touch L&D
• Run Triage
• Rounder
• Help educate Family Medicine Residents

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife
• OR/C-section experience preferred
• License/Certification as Certified Nurse Midwife in the State of Minnesota
