Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Truss Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling wooden or metal trusses used in construction projects, ensuring precision, quality, and compliance with safety standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, following blueprints and using various hand and power tools to complete each project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and diagrams to assemble trusses accurately.
- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and join wood or metal materials.
- Position and secure lumber or metal pieces in jigs to form assemblies.
- Measure, cut, and assemble components to ensure they meet specified dimensions and quality standards.
- Inspect completed trusses for accuracy and ensure compliance with company standards and building codes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow and meet deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety guidelines and protocols.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Experience: Prior experience in truss assembly, carpentry, or related field preferred but not required. Willing to train motivated candidates.
- Skills:
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
