Start Dates
Start dates for new graduate RNs are biweekly throughout the year. You start orientation as a licensed RN eligible to practice in Oklahoma.
New Grad RN Orientation
Our New Grad RN Orientation Program will build competence and confidence in your new role and enable you to move confidently into your future as a Mercy nurse. In our professional monthly workshops and focused support groups throughout your first year, you can share your own experiences, learn from experienced discussion leaders, and explore your impact on patient outcomes. Our monthly content includes conflict management, resiliency and burnout, palliative and comfort care, resiliency, and many other topics.
Position Qualifications
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
