Veterinary Technician

The Cat Hospital of Ft Myers is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician / Assistant to join our team. If you are a compassionate individual with a passion for animal care, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform anesthesia monitoring during surgical procedures
• Assist with preventive care and wellness exams
• Conduct IV catheterization and catheterization procedures
• Provide dental prophylaxis and care
• Use of Cat Friendly handling and treatment techniques
• Assist with animal care, including discharge planning and critical care
• Perform venipuncture, medication administration, and injections
• Assist with triage, X-rays, ultrasound, and lab procedures
• Support surgical procedures and post-operative care

Salary Range: $28,000.00 - $44,000.00
