Job Description/Responsibilities
HR Shared Services Manager
Reporting to the Global Head of HR Operations, Sazerac's HR Shared Services Manager is responsible for managing the shared services team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services and support to team members. This includes managing team member inquiries, developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures, and coordinating with COE's and field HR to ensure seamless delivery of HR services.
The HR Shared Services Manager is a key leadership role within HR Operations and the HR function. This role will interact with all levels within the organization. The ideal candidate will be a proven, confident leader with experience in building an HR Shared Services organization from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the HR shared services team, including coaching, training and developing team members to ensure the highest level of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Drive operational performance and service excellence within the HR Shared Services team and monitor performance of the team against defined performance/quality standards.
• Demonstrate ability to drive ongoing improvements through standardizing, automating and consolidating processes in support of HR strategic goals. Identify problem areas in service delivery processes, troubleshoot issues, and recommend/implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of HR transactions, such as team member data changes, new hires, terminations, and benefits.
• Provide support and guidance to team members on HR policies, procedures and programs.
• Develop and deliver HR metrics and reporting to measure and monitor the effectiveness of HR shared services and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Drive initiatives to enhance service delivery, streamline processes and improve customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the leadership, HR Business Partners, COEs and HR Technology teams to ensure seamless integration of services and support broader HR initiatives.
• Ensure the team provides exceptional service to team members and HR colleagues through timely, accurate responses to inbound inquiries and requests.
• Provide guidance to the HR team, team members and managers regarding consistent interpretation and application of company policies.
• Contribute to the development and execution of effective team member on-boarding.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of team member-related legal requirements reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate HR projects and initiatives using project management approach.
• Manage team member communication in partnership with internal teams to ensure team members receive timely and accurate information about upcoming HR initiatives.
• Participate in due diligence pre-acquisition and manage team member on-boarding post-acquisition.
• Develop and mentor team members, promoting professional growth and succession planning.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• 5+ years HR-related experience including minimum 3 years of leadership experience within a HR shared services or similar operations role.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices in a Shared Services environment.
• Experience managing a team and leading through change management and transformation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
• Experience with various HR information systems and technologies such as ServiceNow and call center technologies.
• Exceptional project management skills and experience with the ability to manage multiple projects, initiatives and deadlines concurrently.
• Analytical skills with the ability to resolve a wide variety of complex issues or problems.
• Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Successful candidate will be self-directed, motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and be a strong team player; this includes showing a drive for results, inquisitiveness, and adaptability.
