Amentum is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified Program Security Manager to provide overall protection of classified and unclassified information in support of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Operations Directorate at part of the Joint Fires Division at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Special Access Program Security Manager (SAPSM) to ensure that the Joint Fires Division programs and facilities follow Joint Staff and USINDOPACOM security directions, guidance, and oversight.
  • Assist in the implementation of Joint Staff and DIA directed improvements to current guidance and regulation; assist the INDOPACOM SAPSM in the evaluation of current and future requirements for Joint Fires Division SAP facilities; coordinate Joint Staff- approved construction or modification to the Joint Fires Division SAP facility; and prepare the Joint Fires Division SAP facility for INDOPACOM SAPSM SAP security inspections/staff assistance visits (SAVs).
  • Manage initial and annual review of personnel security clearance information for Division personnel above and beyond Sensitive Compartmented Access requirements.
  • Ensure Division personnel requiring a periodic reinvestigation of their security clearance have the required access and will provide training for personnel to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to safeguard and protect highly sensitive classified information and know how to apply the appropriate security classification markings.


Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or at least 18 years of documented security experience.
  • At least 10 years of combined experience working in the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • At least 3 years of experience in the DoD in a related field (security or management of classified programs).
  • Knowledge of national-level agency security processes, procedures, and requirements to develop and maintain a comprehensive security programs for USINDOPACOM and components.
  • Experience working on projects at multiple classification levels and compartments that require access to a Special Access Program Facility (SAPF).
  • Knowledge of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) standards and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) applicable to the protection of highly classified programs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to provide information, training, and operational support to the Division.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Must have an active Top-Secret clearance and be SCI eligible. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
  • Candidate may be subject to a counter-intelligence polygraph for work in sensitive activities.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience working in the USINDOPACOM AOR.
  • SSO certification.
  • Knowledge of USINDOPACOM Headquarters structure and processes.


The salary range for this position is $135K to $155K. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
