Job Overview

As the Inside Sales Manager, you will lead, mentor, and grow our inside sales team, ensuring they meet and exceed sales quotas. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, overseeing the sales pipeline, and driving revenue growth. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to align on business goals and create a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and coach a team of outbound SDRs and AEs to hit individual and team sales targets.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement scalable inside sales strategies that drive consistent revenue growth.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track team performance, monitor key sales metrics (calls, demos, conversion rates, etc.), and optimize processes to improve efficiency.
  • Pipeline Management: Ensure proper qualification of leads and opportunities while maintaining a healthy and predictable sales pipeline.
  • Training & Development: Provide ongoing training, resources, and feedback to ensure the team is knowledgeable on product features, competitive positioning, and best sales practices.
  • Sales Forecasting: Work closely with the Director of Sales to develop accurate sales forecasts and set realistic, achievable team goals.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on lead generation, product features, and customer satisfaction.
  • CRM Management: Ensure proper use of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track customer interactions, lead progress, and sales activities.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve sales processes, from lead generation through close, to increase efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in inside sales, with 3+ years in a leadership role, preferably within a SaaS company.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing and growing high-performance inside sales teams and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Sales Expertise: Strong understanding of SaaS sales cycles, B2B sales strategies, and pipeline management.
  • CRM Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), and using sales analytics to drive decisions.
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and drive accountability.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience selling to SMB sales
  • Familiarity with sales enablement tools like Outreach, SalesLoft, or Gong
  • Previous experience working in a high-growth startup environment
