Rehab Veterinarian

Avon Lake Animal Clinic is seeking a compassionate, full or part-time rehab veterinarian to join our 18-doctor team located on the beautiful shores of Lake Erie in Avon Lake, Ohio. Known by our clientele for our high standards of care, we have a 30,000 square foot hospital with all the amenities to practice the most progressive medicine. We have a supportive, mentorship-based environment, and encourage our veterinarian team to explore areas of special interest.
Up & Running Canine Rehabilitation at Avon Lake is a fully equipped rehab facility that focuses on post operative recovery, musculoskeletal injury, neurologic injury, chronic pain, quality of life interventions, and weight loss. Up & Running sets the standard in rehab care with their CCRP team who specialize in pain management techniques to promote healing, comfort, and well-being. They are experienced in creating personalized care plans specific to each pet's needs and work closely with their clients to relieve pain, improve surgical recovery, and maintain mobility. As part of the larger Avon Lake Animal Clinic campus, they offer various rehabilitation techniques and modalities for your canine companion "when only the best will do"!
Rehab amenities include:
• Underwater treadmill
• Seasonal therapy pool with zero entry
• Therapeutic exercise
• Laser therapy
• Piezowave (coming soon)
• Manual therapies
• Acupuncture
• Electrostimulation acupuncture
Our ideal rehab veterinarian candidate has been, or is currently, certified as CCRP or CCRT. Certification in acupuncture or chiropractic's is a big PLUS but not required. To learn more about Up & Running, check us out here!
Compensation for full-time rehab veterinarian will depend on experience, minimum of $100,000 base salary. Signing bonus and relocation stipend available.
