The Team - Strategy & Transformation

Join a team of talented professionals with deep business and finance transformation experience to guide clients through major transactions (M&A, carve outs, IPOs), new system implementations, and organizational challenges. We help organizations develop business strategy and execute on transformation initiatives in the areas of operational accounting, financial process improvement, financial technology enablement, FP&A, and transactions.

Your Impact
  • Work within our Financial Services vertical delivering strategic advice and solutions to senior and C-Level executives on how to obtain value from major investments and transformations.
  • Facilitate client working sessions ranging from executive and board level meetings to large group presentations and requirements gathering exercises.
  • Lead current state assessments of business challenges and build improvement roadmaps.
  • Leverage a "roll-up your sleeves" style to develop and execute against clients' strategic initiatives.
  • Manage and coach project teams to deliver complex engagements.
  • Develop and manage the performance of junior team members through active coaching, feedback and mentorship.
  • Lead business development efforts across all stages (market analysis, client sourcing, relationship building, proposal development, oral presentations).
  • Participate in strategic practice growth initiatives, including the development of service offerings, geographic expansion, industry specialization, recruitment, retention and development of team members.
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with clients at all levels that are based on integrity and trust.
  • Contribute perspectives on the implications of market trends such as data and digital transformation, emerging technology, macro-economic trends, regulatory demands.

Your Experience

Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Technology or related discipline
  • 11+ years of experience with at least 3 years of recent client-facing experience in a professional services organization. Additional years of experience may include highly relevant industry experience with major financial services or technology companies.
  • Deep experience and relationships within the Financial Services industry
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate new business and achieve revenue growth goals
  • Transformation expertise in one of the following domains within Financial Services:
    • Office of the CFO: Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Balance Sheet Management, etc. and all supporting processes, applications, data and reporting, etc.
    • Mergers and Acquisitions: Helping major financial services companies execute on end-to-end M&A strategies from diligence through Day 1 and post-merger integration
    • Digital and Data Transformation: Automation, AI, Data (management, governance, lineage, etc.), Machine Learning, RPA, etc.
    • Core Banking: Technology, Data, and Processes around loan origination and servicing, investment and capital markets, deposits, etc. (particularly around implementations, conversions, cutovers, etc.)
  • Delivery experience in one or all of the following:
    • End-to-end Business and Finance Transformation across people, process, technology, and data
    • Developing and using complex financial models (forecasting, build versus buy, ROI assessment, and price optimization).
    • Development of Business Cases and Strategic Roadmaps
    • Program Management, Project Implementation, and Change Management
    • Operating Model and Organizational Assessment, Design, and Implementation
  • Prior experience working directly with and advising C-Level executives, including experience presenting complex ideas and facilitating executive workshops
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Experience managing teams of at least 4-8 people to deliver complex engagements under high pressure situations, supporting the career development and success of junior staff.
  • Flexibility to travel at least 25%.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master of Business Administration (may substitute for business-related undergraduate degree).
  • CPA

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at MorganFranklin Consulting depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, MorganFranklin believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure to be between $151,881 and $314,345. The individual may also be eligible for a variety of bonus and financial incentives based on individual and company performance.
