As an Associate Director at CrossCountry Consulting you will be responsible for a mix of client delivery, leading teams and developing junior team members, and participating in business development activities.
What You'll Do:
- Lead client engagements to successfully complete intricate transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, IPOs, with specialized focus on carve-outs, and divestitures
- Leverage your expertise in developing target operating models, process re-engineering, transaction program management and Transition Service Agreements to support client's day 1 readiness activities for acquisition integration, separation management and/or IPO execution
- Understand and promote the client's strategic objectives, drive cross-functional planning, assess risks and challenges, and develop comprehensive project plans that encompass all transaction workstreams
- Manage communication with senior and C-Suite stakeholders, including developing and delivering executive status reports and swiftly escalating any emerging issues, as necessary
- Collaborate on the development and documentation of business processes and controls, ensuring optimal performance
- Formulate strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning, preparing for any future challenges
- Foster clear and effective communication about project execution across transaction stakeholders, including client leadership, project team members, and third parties
- Collaborate across Business Transformation functions to provide versatile support during "off-market" periods, ensuring seamless assistance for other business transformation offerings while maintaining focus on primary transactional responsibilities
- Mentor team members by coaching colleagues, providing regular ongoing feedback and annual performance reviews, and helping project teams resolve multi-faceted issues
- Cultivate new client relationships and deepen existing ones; support proposal efforts
- Play an active role in attracting, interviewing, hiring, and retaining top talent
What You'll Bring:
- 10+ years prior experience in professional services
- Expertise in project management, with a specialty in driving large-scale transformative projects to completion with proven track record in M&A, divestiture, and IPO activities
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or similar technical discipline
- Willingness to travel based on client preference
