Solution Architect and Program Management Specialist
The Opportunity:
As a Presentation Solution Architect and Program Management Specialist, you'll wear two hats: developing solution concepts to support proposal efforts and managing the complexities of supporting a program with a variety of requirements. Compliance in bids and delivery depends on strong attention to detail, and it's imperative to keep the program on a productive path. That's why we need you, an architect and specialist who can help ensure success through technical solution facilitation and organizational skill.
As a Presentation Solution Architect, you'll develop proposal solution concepts, architectures, plans, and narrative elements in support of proposal and other business development efforts. You will actively create proposal and solution content, translating subject matter experts' inputs into compelling submissions that communicate client impact. You'll apply leading-edge technical principles, theories, and concepts throughout the business development life cycle. You will be responsible for ensuring the solution design, presentation slides, and performance work statements (PWS) resonate with clients while meeting sustainability and affordability requirements. You'll work on complex problems and provide innovative solutions for high-priority opportunities. You'll communicate effectively with the capture team, senior leadership, teammates, and other stakeholders.
As a Program Management Specialist, you will implement and maintain organizational systems in support of the program. You'll work with program leadership to compile, review, and edit contract deliverables and documentation. You'll review and track technical deliverables for accuracy and completion, assist in onboarding teams to projects, and prepare program status summaries and presentation. You'll attend meetings and prepare meeting minutes. You'll use tactical planning tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, and have regular interactions with project leads, subject matter experts, and other project analysts. This position will require a detail-oriented, organized approach to project management in all areas of a program management office, including onboarding, risk management, and deliverables.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with proposal development and bid submission
- 4+ years of experience with multi-discipline proposal solutioning for government clients in organizational transformation or digital transformation
- 3+ years of experience with working in a business or project management environment
- Experience with reviewing and editing various styles of technical or programmatic documentation, including synthesizing data and information from multiple sources into a single document or report
- Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to lead teams of all levels throughout the solutioning process, including communicating with a variety of stakeholders and subject matter experts'
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with developing complex technical solutions for large captures
- Experience with DoD acquisition and writing PWSs
- Experience with technical editing for grammar, syntax, formatting, and style
- Experience with delivering on government transformation efforts, including in Air Force or Space Force markets
- Ability to continuously take initiative to get the artifact done
- Ability to meet multiple fast-paced deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Possession of excellent time management, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills
- Possession of excellent attention to detail skills
- Secret clearance
- Proposals or Solution Architecting Certification, including Shipley, APMP, or Lohfeld Certification
