In this role, you will have technical ownership of assigned test programs including evaluation of test rig related facility engineering projects. You will adhere to internal processes to ensure test programs are developed that meet customer CTQ's and fit within facility capabilities.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $98,400.00 - 164,000.00 USD Annual.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
This position will stay open on the career website until at least 10/22/2024.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning, design, development, instrumentation, and execution of engineering test programs.
- Act as the primary customer interface responsible for customer CTQ's and deliverables.
- Manage test project related activities including the design and coordination of facility modifications, data acquisition set up, hardware installation, operations planning and test documentation.
- Deliver technical presentations at design reviews and other program reviews.
- Maintain operational compliance with ISO requirements and update the Test Record File.
- Establish work priorities consistent with the lab's priorities and key objectives.
- Ensure compliance with GE and regulatory EHS policies and maintain a safe work environment with a goal of "zero" injuries.
- Develop and implement process improvements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related Engineering/Science from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design, development, or testing of turbines, jet engines, or turbomachinery.
- This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
- Ability and willingness to travel 5% of the time; domestic & international.
Desired Characteristics:
- Master's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well with all levels within the organization.
