Overview: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of electrical construction projects, including planning, budgeting, cost estimating, scheduling, and operational oversight. This role ensures that projects are completed safely, profitably, on time, and to a high standard of quality, in accordance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Organization: Plan, organize, and staff electrical construction projects to ensure successful completion.
- Project Documentation: Manage all project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and change orders. Maintain drawing control logs and prepare required logs for construction meetings.
- Cost Management: Create job-specific cost codes, forecast budgets, track productivity, and report daily.
- Scheduling: Manage materials, subcontractors, and labor schedules. Review submittals and shop drawings.
- Time Tracking: Approve and track project time entries.
- Project Control: Ensure that project control plans are implemented and adhered to.
- Stakeholder Communication: Interface with owners, contractors, and construction managers. Monitor progress and activities of other contractors.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare price change orders, project reports, and other necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience on projects ranging from $10 million to $100 million, with electrical estimating experience.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of ConEst, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, or similar estimating/BIM software.
- Attributes: Ability to work independently or in teams, think creatively and analytically, and make sound decisions. Experience in both new construction and active or existing projects.
