Hazardous Materials Coordinator, Journeyman is responsible for overall coordination, management and execution of the HAZMAT program IAW principles, standards and techniques of HAZMAT management. HAZMAT program shall comply with all applicable federal, DoD, state and local regulations pertaining to environmental protection. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience within the last four (4) years in the management, administration or operation of a hazardous materials/waste program. Experience shall include receiving, storage, distribution, handling and disposal of a variety of materials. At least one (1) of the two (2) years of experience shall include planning, organizing, directing, operating and evaluating a HAZMAT program for an entire command. Must have familiarity and knowledge of applicable federal, DoD, state, and local regulations pertaining to the environmental protection . Education requirement: High School diploma or GED Requires Hazardous Substance Incident Response Management (HSIRM) and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) training. Top Secret Security Clearance Required. NOTE: US Citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a United States Top Secret Security Clearance. Security Clearance: Position requires the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance and maintain a favorable Tier 5 background investigation. Preferred Qualifications: S-92, VH-92A, VH-3D, and VH-60N experience preferred. Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
