Specialty : Gastroenterology Start date : 02/24/2025 ; End date : Ongoing Coverage type: No Call SHIFT DETAILS : * Monday-Friday 8a-5p, no nights, no weekends, no calls * Schedule Details: Monday through Friday, 7a-5p, no call, no weekends, no inpatient. WORK DETAILS : * Frequency of any Call needed: No call * Support staff: They will have support staff in the department * Department Description: Outpatient only * EMR/Documentation System: EPIC * Special procedures?: None * Procedures : * In the AM they will be in the office doing outpatient and the afternoon until 5 will go to the hospital and see inpatient consults and procedures, as necessary. * No after hours nor weekend call at the site. * 1 Physician in practice, 2 mid-levels. * No lab or X-ray on-site. Office staff; 2 CMA's, 2 RN's, 2 Registration Staff, 1 Office Supervisor Outpatient/Inpatient Experience Required Upper GI Endoscopy - With Biopsy - With Foreign Body Removal - With fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser) - With Banding of Varices - With PEG (preferred) Esophageal dilatation/manometry Small bowel biopsy Lower GI endoscopy Sigmoidoscopy Colonoscopy - with biopsy - with excision of polyp REQUIREMENTS : * Board Certifications Req d/Preferred: BC in Gastroenterology required * State License(s) / IMLC Req d?: SC license highly preferred * CSR Req d?: Yes * DEA Req d?: Yes
