Gastroenterology Physician

* Coverage Needed Per Month: * Full-time with some call * Position Overview: * Full-time coverage required, including office visits and procedures (not solely proceduralist). * Work Schedule: * Clinic Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM. * Office Hours: * Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. * Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. * Procedure Hours: * Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM. * Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM. * Call Requirements: * Occasional call required but currently covered by a neighboring hospital. * If call is required, it will be 24/7 and operates from Monday 7:00 AM to the following Monday 7:00 AM. * Call is not scheduled Monday through Friday. * Procedures and Equipment: * No ERCP or EUS required. * Procedures conducted in both the Ambulatory Center and the Endo Suite at the hospital. * Work Rotation: * Provider will rotate between the hospital, Ambulatory Center, and office. * Clinic/Office visits scheduled for one day a week; remaining days include procedures at the Ambulatory Center and hospital. * Call Coverage: * Call availability varies weekly; not guaranteed * Frequency of Call: * Any call would be from Monday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM * Schedule Details: * No calls required Monday through Friday * Work Details: * Support Staff: 2 AP and seasoned clinic staff * Department Description: * Busy GI office requiring a full-time Gastroenterologist * Duties include office visits, hospital procedures, and Ambulatory Center procedures * Flexibility in work schedules * Collaboration with a well-seasoned team * Patient Volume: 10-15 patients * Patient Age Group: Varies * EMR/Documentation System: * EPIC Provation for GI system * Dragon for dictation * Mobile Heartbeat for hospital services * Tiger Text for provider communication * Special Procedures/Unit Details: * General Gastro procedures * Procedures include standard colonoscopies, EGDs, Flex Sig, etc. * No ERCP, EUS, or high-end services * Procedures performed in Endo Suite or Ambulatory Center * Special Equipment Used: (Not specified) * Requirements: * Board Certifications Required/Preferred: Gastroenterology * State License(s) / IMLC Required: PA license * Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS * Specific Skills Required: (Not specified) * CSR Required: PA * DEA Required: Not specified * Minimum Experience Required: Not specified * Are Vaccines Mandatory: Not specified * Additional Requirements/Details: (Not specified)
