Emergency Medicine Physician

Job Details: * Annual Volume- 10,000 +/- * Physician shifts- (8a-8p) * APP shifts- Intermittent APP coverage * Number of beds-9 + 4 Fast Track Bays * Transfer locations- PMC, Ballad (Bristol, Johnson City, Kingsport, Holston Valley), Clinch Valley * Transfer %- 9 * Admission Rate %-11 * EMR-CPSI * No Trauma Designation * Will take FM or IM board with recent EM experience- within 2 years * If not EM board certified - will need ACLS, ATLS, BLS and PALS * Scribes are not available * ED does not handle admints * ED will respond to floor codes as a back up to the hospitalist * Credentialing can be done w/in a couple weeks pending provider cooperation
