Sapphire Health Services is currently seeking a dedicated HR/Staffing Coordinator to uphold our commitment to excellence.

JOB SUMMARY:

The HR/Staffing Coordinator is responsible for managing the recruitment, new hire orientation and staffing functions within our facility/community This role involves ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet the needs of residents, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support for HR-related activities. The coordinator will work closely with department heads, employees, and external agencies to maintain a productive and positive work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain clinical staffing schedules to ensure sufficient coverage for all shifts
  • Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs and fill open positions
  • Implement strategies to reduce overtime and ensure cost-effective staffing
  • Ensure vacant positions are filled to meet staffing requirements
  • Involved in approving time off and promoting good attendance
  • Makes sure all required employment and labor law posters are displayed within the facility
  • Creates and maintains required staffing reports to remain in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Arrange new hire training and support new employee orientation process
  • Maintain staff records and track required certification
  • If needed, coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and hiring
  • Conduct background checks, reference checks, and credential verification
  • Facilitate the onboarding process, including orientation and training for new hires
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and HR databases
  • Maintain accurate records of new hires and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Promote employee engagement and retention through recognition programs, team-building activities, and regular feedback
  • Other Duties as Assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience in HR and/or staffing roles, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
